Steps for Registration for Wisconsin Ice VBC 2021 Season Tryouts or Chips & Shavings Programs
Register with Badger Region Volleyball Association/USA Volleyball on SportsEngine (Registering on SportsEngine is not registering for Wisconsin Ice VBC Tryouts)
You must first register with Badger Region/USA Volleyball by following the steps on-line at SportsEngine.
You can access SportsEngine through the Badger Region Volleyball website, badgervolleyball.org. Once on the Badger Region Volleyball website, you should click on the “MEMBERSHIP” tab on the right end of the tab selections at the top. This will bring up options to register, provide information about registration, and provide frequent questions with answers. If you then click on “About Registration”, this will guide you through the process of purchasing your Badger Region/USA Volleyball membership.
Please remember that this is registration with the Badger Region Volleyball Association/USAV and not with Wisconsin Ice VBC. This fee goes to the Badger Region/USAV and does not cover any fees for Wisconsin Ice VBC.
Any potential player that is trying out for Wisconsin Ice VBC must be registered with the Badger Region/USAV before Tryouts or you will not be allowed to enter the gym for the Tryouts. This is a Badger Region Volleyball Association rule. You will be required to print out your membership card and show it when checking in for your scheduled tryout for Wisconsin Ice VBC or before your first practice in the case of the Chips and Shavings programs.
13s-18s Badger Region/USAV Registration
Players that are trying out for 13s through 18s teams will be filling in the Badger Region/USAV membership information and paying the Badger Region/USAV Fall Membership fee of $15. This $15 Fall membership fee is required to participate in any tryouts. You will be required to have a credit card to pay this fee online and you will need to print your Badger Region/USAV membership card after you have registered. If you do make a team after your tryout, then you can return to SportsEngine to upgrade to a full Badger Region/USAV for an additional $35. Please note that if you pay the Full Membership fee of $50 instead of the Fall Membership of $15 before tryouts and you are not placed on a team, the Badger Region/USAV will not refund the $35 difference.
Wisconsin Ice Chips Badger Region/USAV Registration
Players that will be participating in the Wisconsin Ice Chips program (typically 11-12-year-old players with your age determined on your birthday before July 1, 2021) will not have a Wisconsin Ice Tryout or All Call this year before the practices begin. All Chips players will be accepted on a team, so if you know that you would like to participate for the 2021 season, then you should register and purchase your Badger Region/USAV $50 Full Junior Membership. Do not pay the Fall Membership fee of $15 because you will not be participating in a tryout. At the conclusion of your registration process, you will need to print your Badger Region/USAV membership card.

Players that will be participating in the Wisconsin Ice Shavings program (typically 8-10-year-old players with your age determined on your birthday before July 1, 2021) will not have a Wisconsin Ice Tryout or All Call this year before the practices begin. All Shavings players will be accepted into the program.
