Wisconsin Ice VBC will be providing fundraising opportunities to keep prices down and for the benefit of players and their families experiencing financial hardship to assist them with paying their membership fees for the 2024 season.
Gun and Purse Raffle - New this year!
Mandatory for everyone to sell 3 raffle tickets (your choice of raffle, not both gun and purse) at $10.00 a piece, or if you like the prizes, you can purchase them yourself.
This covers the cost of prizes and other expenses that go with this raffle.
After you sell your 3 tickets, it is up to you how many you want to sell.
You get to keep $8.00 per ticket.
***Those of you who need financial help, this is easy and quick.***
You can post on social media or take it to work or holiday parties.
If you sell 20 tickets, after your 3 mandatory ones, you would make $160.00 towards fees, hotels, apparel, and whatever you need.
Sell 50, again after your 3 mandatory ones, you make $400.00 so hopefully this helps ease some financial stress before the holidays.
Every athlete and their family will get their 3 raffle tickets of choice at the December 10th Club Ice Breaker at Creske Center.
If you will not be there, you need to reach out to me so we can get you those 3 tickets of choice.
Reply to this email with which tickets you want for your mandatory ones (ex. 2 purse tickets and 1 gun or 3 gun tickets) and then if you want more to sell, how many tickets you want for either gun raffle, purse raffle, or both.
I will have them ready for you on the 10th. If you want them sooner please email, call, or text me and we will figure it out.
Raffle winners will be announced on January 4th at one of the Ice practices and we will go live on the WI Ice Facebook page.
Turn in all sold raffle tickets stubs and your 1 check or cash for what you sold on or before January 2nd, 2024 to me.
Kwik Trip Gift Cards
- Optional fundraiser -
You sell the gas cards for face value and keep the 5% Kwik Trip discount to help defray your expenses for Club.
Your customers should write their checks to you and then you write one check (no cash) to “Wisconsin Ice VBC” for all the gas cards that you sold (no third-party checks) minus 5% off the face value of the cards.
For example, if you sell $100 worth of cards, you will keep $5 ($100 x .05) and write a check to “Wisconsin Ice VBC” for $95.
The denominations of the gas cards are shown on the ORDER FORM.
Many player families have asked if they can get the Kwik Trip Gas Cards before Christmas break to give to school teachers so that they can be used as Christmas gifts.
Due to this request, please e-mail your completed order form to Jay Johnson at sjjohnson@charter.net by noon on Monday, December 18th.
If you do not have the capability of scanning or taking a picture of your order form, then you can send an e-mail message with the quantity of each card denomination that you would like us to order for you instead of the order sheet.
The cards from this order would then be available a day or 2 later depending on delivery from Kwik Trip.
If you need your cards immediately, then it will be your responsibility to pick them up from Jay Johnson at his residence in Plover (2501 Springville Dr) unless other arrangements can be made.
If you need more time to sell your cards, then let us know and we will run an additional order at a later date.
A date distribution of the cards will be worked out later when a time and location can be finalized unless you need your cards right away for Christmas or other reasons.
This is when you pay with your one check.
