Offering of Spots

• Offering of spots on teams - An“offer” is a statement made by a Club Director or designee offering a position on the roster of one of their Club’s teams
• Players are selected based on skill, attitude and positions needed
• An offer might occur at tryouts with a blue card or a phone call or e-mail after tryouts

Commitment Date

• Commitment timeframe for all age groups will be 7 p.m. on the Monday after the applicable tryout period for all offers – October 9, for 13s & 14s and November 13, for 15s through 18s

Acceptance of Offer

•  Players are encouraged to let the Club know of your intentions as soon as the decision has been made – a player does NOT need to wait until the deadline to accept or decline an offer.
• If you accept an offer at Tryouts, return your signed blue card to a Director.

When you are offered a Spot on a Team

• You may accept, put on hold, or decline the offer 
• The offer must be held until the Commitment Date (Monday following the Tryout at 7:00 pm) 
• The Club may withdraw an offer that is not accepted by the Commitment Date
• If you (player or parent) accept an offer, either verbally or written, you are committed to that Club until the end of the Junior Volleyball season
• Once an athlete is given an offer, she is encouraged to make her decision as quickly as possible. This is a courtesy to other athletes who are waiting for offers & clubs that are attempting to solidify their rosters

Membership Fees & Handbook Compliance Forms Due Before December 3rd Practice

• Fees must be completely paid by credit card or debit card on-line through the website before 12-01-23 (credit card fees will apply as charged by the company providing the credit card payment services). 
• The Handbook agreement form must be signed electronically when paying your membership fee.
• Upon receipt of membership fee, uniform will be issued, when available. Membership fee is non-refundable.
• Talk to Jay Johnson about special payment plans

If you need a payment plan due to financial hardship, then please send your proposed payment plan to sjjohnson@charter.net for consideration and we will send an e-mail message back to you to let you know if your payment plan is acceptable. If you need a payment plan, then you will propose the payment plan that will work best with your financial situation including the dates of the payments and the amount that you are paying with each payment. 
 

Uniforms - Trying on Sample Sizes

All 13s and 14s players must try on their uniforms sometime during the Tryouts for the 15s and older players, which will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Wausau West High School. You can arrive any time between 10:30 am and 5:00 pm on that Sunday to try on your uniform.

There will also be spirit wear on display during the Tryouts for you to try on and if you are interested in ordering anything, information for ordering will be available.
