Arrive at practice and tournaments on time and fully dressed. Tournaments typically begin at 8:00 am or 8:30 am
Attend all practice sessions and tournaments. If a practice is missed, the session must be made up by attending another team’s practice. Let your coach know by e-mail or a phone call if you are unable to attend a practice due to illness & notify coach of team for make-up session. Ice does work with multi-sport athletes to the best of our ability.
Taping to be done prior to practice or the start of warm-ups before the 1st match at tournaments.
Follow and obey your signed Wisconsin Ice VBC Code of Conduct Agreement form from the Handbook.
Report all injuries and ailments immediately to your coach.
No jewelry, earrings, etc. at practice or matches.
Kneepads will be worn at all practices and matches. We strongly encourage the use of Active Ankles.
No food, soda or gum at practice in gym.
Use a waste basket for disposing of any garbage at all sites.
Let your coaches do the coaching! Yelling at officials, teammates or opposing players will not be tolerated.
Hustle, listen attentively, and be mentally ready to play. Horseplay or talking on the bench will not be tolerated. Watch players who play your position so you know what they are doing on the court.
Be encouraging to your teammates.

Respect our practice facilities & tournament sites.
Any sanction fees imposed by the Badger Region for failure to play, referee or follow site rules will be charged to the player(s) responsible for the sanction.
If a conflict arises between player’s commitment to Ice and a school activity or college visitation, athlete must give coach advance notice one week before the tournament of her absence.
Before leaving tournament site, clean up our area.
Respect tournament rules if coolers are not allowed to be carried in.
No drugs, alcohol or tobacco will be allowed at any time while participating, traveling with, or being associated with Ice. Grounds for immediate release.
If a player is disrespectful or violates USAV/Ice policy to coaches, parents, players, or officials at any time, she will be asked to leave the organization.
While in the Ice uniform, you are expected to conduct yourselves with proper manners, including speech, behavior & common courtesy.
On overnight situations, you are responsible for getting the correct amount of sleep & for being in the supervision of an adult.
A player may not leave the playing venue without the express permission of her coach. Players must be accompanied by an adult when leaving a playing venue.
It is the responsibility of the player to know the team’s plans in terms of playing schedule, uniform, etc.
If a player has a concern about anything with the team, ask your coach if you can discuss it with them. Do not discuss non-emergency concerns with the Coaches on tournament days. You must wait 24 hours after the completion of a tournament before approaching your coach to discuss these concerns.
