Wisconsin Ice VBC will be providing an optional fundraiser for the benefit of players and their families experiencing financial hardship to assist them with paying their membership fees for the 2023 season.
Here are two options for the optional fundraiser this season as follows:
1. Portesi Pizza Sale
2. Kwik Trip Gas Card Sale
Portesi Pizza Sale – optional fundraiser
Cost of each pizza is $9.50.
Your customers should write their checks to you and then you write one check (no cash) to “Wisconsin Ice VBC” for all the pizzas that you sold (no third-party checks).
Your check should include $5.50 for each pizza that you sold, and you keep the remaining $4.00 for each pizza sold to help to defray the cost of your membership fee.
You must still pay your full membership fee.
This fundraiser is provided to you to help you to pay your membership fee.
Types of pizzas are shown on the order form.
Your completed order form must be e-mailed to Jay Johnson at sjjohnson@charter.net by noon on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
If you do not have the capability of scanning or taking a picture of your order form, then you can send an e-mail message with the quantity of each type of pizza that you would like us to order for you in lieu of the order form.
If you need more time to sell pizzas, then let us know and we can possibly extend the due date to a later date.
The delivery of the pizzas from Portesi Pizza will be in mid-January.
A date for the collection of your original order forms & checks for your order and the distribution of the pizzas will be worked out at a later date when a time and location can be finalized.
Players will be required to pick up the pizzas that they sold at the delivery site, which most likely will be one of the Wisconsin Ice VBC practice sites.
Kwik Trip Gas Card Sale – optional fundraiser
You sell the gas cards for face value and keep the 5% Kwik Trip discount to help defray your expenses for Club.
Your customers should write their checks to you and then you write one check (no cash) to “Wisconsin Ice VBC” for all the gas cards that you sold (no third-party checks) minus 5% off the face value of the cards.
For example, if you sell $100 worth of cards, you will keep $5 ($100 x .05) and write a check to “Wisconsin Ice VBC” for $95.
The denominations of the gas cards are shown on the order form.
Many player families have asked if they can get the Kwik Trip Gas Cards before Christmas so that they can be used as Christmas gifts.
Due to this request, please e-mail your completed order form to Jay Johnson at sjjohnson@charter.net by noon on Monday, December 19.
If you do not have the capability of scanning or taking a picture of your order form, then you can send an e-mail message with the quantity of each card denomination that you would like us to order for you in lieu of the order sheet.
The cards from this order would then be available by either Wednesday, December 21, or Thursday, December 22, depending on delivery from Kwik Trip.
If you need your cards before the pizza delivery date in mid-January, then it will be your responsibility to pick them up from Jay Johnson at his residence in Plover (2501 Springville Dr) unless other arrangements can be made.
If you need more time to sell your cards, then let us know and we will run an additional order at a later date.
A date for the collection of your original order forms & checks for your order and the distribution of the cards will be worked out at a later date when a time and location can be finalized unless you need your cards right away for Christmas or other reasons.
Please print as many forms as you will need for your sales.
You can begin your sales immediately.
Please remember that Wisconsin Ice will only accept one personal check from you for your order written to “Wisconsin Ice VBC”.
No checks from you customers are accepted.
You may participate in both fundraiser options; however, you should write a separate personal check for each fundraiser.
